Designing is a word which has no limit if we get deep in to its meaning. Whenever a designer gets the project of making something new out of trash and he puts all his efforts to do that and tries everything which could make his design look different from any other. Almost 90% of designers focus on making their own new thing out of nothing which is great thing but that doesn’t helps if the time period of the project is really less. If you are a freelance web designer or freelance graphic designer then you must have noticed that most of the freelance projects do not provides you appropriate time to finish and most of them didn’t gets finished due to low time. Well, some of the designers use to edit their older work on these cases and some of those uses to do some editing work in free templates and sample available on the internet to complete the task/project on time.

Well, none of the above ways are my preference and I will advise you to not to follow any one of them as they will not let your creative career in any direction. Graphics Software have made the designing a lot easy but the fact is that new thinking is still a work of creative human mind and it will be always. If you want to make a creative graphic design portfolio then all you need to do is think differently because if you are graphic designer that is only your job. No matter whether you are web design professional or some other designer, creativity is key.

Going back to our subject of making creative designs in less time then I could give you one advice which will help you to finish your projects on time. “Play with FONTS”, yeah it is necessary in all condition but if you are having less time then you can give it first priority as it is something which will always help your design to look good and if you think that from where you will be getting more fonts then answer is simple and i.e. Internet. Changing the fonts of the design could help a lot to make design better and you can add the font which refers to the theme of your design.

Not only changing the type of fonts but changing the sizes of fonts also helps a lot as you can put focus more on main words or you can enlarge some letters of each and every important word. You can change the placement of each and every alphabet and make them more closely or far from each other to make them look more creative. These are like small font tricks which could be performed to make the design better. Once you are in the play of font you could get a lot out of it in no time and that helps a lot to get a entire new and creative design.
